Community Tree Care Program

Our goal: Improve the long-term resilience of the urban forest by investing in its maintenance.

Caring for trees as they age and decline can be cost prohibitive. Thanks to funding from the U.S. Forest Service, TVCN is able to partner with local tree care companies to provide tree work and removals to those who are eligible (see Eligibility tab below).

• The location of the intended tree work is within the boundaries of the map below

• You are the primary owner and occupant of the property

• Your household’s annual income is 60% or less of the area’s median income (see chart here)

• The requested tree work is deemed necessary by TVCN’s Contract Arborist

Applications for the 2026 schedule will be accepted through January 31, 2026. Following your completed application, you will be contacted to either schedule an inspection with the TVCN Contract Arborist or a program denial. If your application is denied you may apply again in the future.

If your project is selected, we will work with you and the tree care provider directly to schedule the work and ensure it is completed during Spring & Summer 2026.
